The winner from each category will receive a year of FREE testing, a FREE genetic profile of their winning strain, a full page write up on our site, and bragging rights for the year. This prize package has a value of over $200 USD.

How Fall Harvest Medical Cup 2012! Finding the Highest THC and CBD Strains works:

In order to enter a strain for judging in this years Fall Harvest Medical Cup 2012! Finding the Highest THC and CBD Strains you must submit your sample no later than October 31st 2012. Our One Use Test Kit will be used to provide the samples in a manner which meets all DEA and NIDA regulations. This means you can submit 1-3 samples for judging at the low cost of our One Use Test Kit. In other words, purchase a One Use Test Kit, send in the slides, and you are entered to WIN!

Samples can be sent in for the Fall Harvest Medical Cup 2012! Finding the Highest THC and CBD Strains from anywhere in the World and we will respect the anonymity of those who would wish to remain anonymous. Upon receipt Montana Biotech will test each sample and provide the owner with their THC and CBD percentages by volume via e-mail or post office. All results of Fall Harvest Medical Cup 2012! Finding the Highest THC and CBD Strains will be posted on our website at the Contest Page. We will allow one week for late arrivals that were post dated no later than October 31st, and then on November 7th we will announce the winner of both categories. A full page of our website will be dedicated to the winner of each category. We hope to be able to share the science of each strain and how it has been grown by conducting interviews with the winners. This information may be used by all of our readers and participants to increase the quality of medicinal cannabis World wide.

1.) Make sure samples are DRY and crumbly. The greater the moisture content the less accurate the T.L.C. method is.

2.) Weigh dry samples at a volume you can reproduce accurately. The volume should be less than .5 grams for this test kit. This kit will only fit two samples per plate.

3.) Place samples in the 1.5mL tubes and add 1mL of the Extraction Solution. Crush and vigorously shake the samples. Let sit for ~5min.

T.L.C. Plate Prep:

1.) Only handle T.L.C. plates with gloved hands.

2.) Load your desired volume of samples no less than 1 microliter no greater than 3 microliters. Be consistent with volumes loaded on the sample plate.

3.) Be sure to mark on the back with a permanent marker a number 1 on one plate and a number 2 on the other. Make a key so as to remember the order of the samples submitted. A copy of the key should be submitted. Be sure to keep track of the volume weighed, and the volume loaded onto the slide.

3.) Place your slide back into the plastic shipping container making sure the plate is protected from jostling by using the packing paper we have included. “Montana biotech is not responsible for improperly packed slides and no refunds will be issued.”

4.) Place the plastic shipping container into the return envelope. Mail back to:

Once you have developed your slide and the T.L.C. dye has dried revealing your unique cannabinoid profile, simply place the slide on a dark background, preferably black, making sure your order’s Transaction ID Number is clearly in frame and legible.
