2- T.L.C. plates

1- Set of latex FREE gloves

1- 20mL bottle of Extraction Solvent

4- Microcapillary tubes

4- 1.5mL Sample tubes

Novel compound analysis assay.

Area Prep

1.) Remove all items from the area not needed for your testing.

2.) Make sure you have a scale capable of measuring down to .1 grams

Now you are ready to start some testing!!

WEAR GLOVES!!

Sample Prep:

1.) Make sure samples are DRY and crumbly. The greater the moisture content the less accurate the T.L.C. method is.

2.) Weigh dry samples at a volume you can reproduce accurately. The volume should be less than .5 grams for this test kit. This kit will only fit two samples per plate.

3.) Place samples in the 1.5mL tubes and add 1mL of the Extraction Solution. Crush and vigorously shake the samples. Let sit for ~5min.

T.L.C. Plate Prep:

1.) Only handle T.L.C. plates with gloved hands.

2.) Load your desired volume of samples no less than 1 microliter no greater than 3 microliters. Be consistent with volumes loaded on the sample plate.

3.) Be sure to mark on the back with a permanent marker a number 1 on one plate and a number 2 on the other. Make a key so as to remember the order of the samples submitted. A copy of the key should be submitted. Be sure to keep track of the volume weighed, and the volume loaded onto the slide.

3.) Place your slide back into the plastic shipping container making sure the plate is protected from jostling by using the packing paper we have included. “Montana biotech is not responsible for improperly packed slides and no refunds will be issued.”

4.) Place the plastic shipping container into the return envelope. Mail back to:
